What is secondhand smoke?

Secondhand smoke is the smoke from the burning end of a cigarette, pipe, or cigar, plus the smoke exhaled by the smoker. eCigarettes produce a similar secondhand aerosol. Secondhand smoke is more than just irritating; it is a real health risk. It contains many chemicals classified as toxic and it causes serious health problems.
